Say Goodbye To Sexy Demon Chick Ruby

“Sexy Supernatural thief Bela (Lauren Cohan) has already been sent to hell — unlike Dean, she won’t be released — and now the show’s creator Eric Kripke tells TV Guide it’s bye bye to sexy demon Ruby (Katie Cassidy) as well.

“She’s great, but this was unfortunately a financial decision — purely budgetary, because creatively she was terrific,” Kripke said. “I have nothing but great affection for Katie, and she was great for the show. It was a very difficult business decision about the realities we are in.” Though the budget’s the same as last year, the show films in Canada and is suffering from a lousy exchange rate.

There will be female characters, Kripke promises. But expect more of the love ‘em, leave ‘em or kill ‘em variety. “We have a plan that’s as exciting as any we’ve ever had of how to thread new characters in some unexpected ways,” he said, adding that the season opener will have a couple of “bombshells that will set the show off in a new direction.” Just don’t mess too much with those Winchester boys! — Ileane Rudolph”

Let’s get back to my opinion : That’s too bad Katie won’t be back in next Supernatural season, I used to love her character she was so badass and she brought something new to the show… Unfortunately, we’ll have to deal with… As the show’s budget has been slashed down we should have seen that coming… I’m just hoping the whole “Love ‘em Leave ‘em Kill ‘em” Won’t be a too major part of the next season cause it’s something we already dealed with in “Sin City” the demon chick Cassie… And it was cool for JUST ONE episode, hope they won’t do that in every single eps of the show cause that could definitely be a bad publicity for the show, I mean the story line is about how will Dean get back from hell… Will Sam use his powers to bring him back ? All these stuff have to be revealed in that new season so the whole “Chicks” Thing is kinda inappropriate in my opinion (And in the opinion of french fans from my forum, they definitely agree with me on ONE point : We don’t want supernatural to be turned into some kinda of a “Supernatural One Tree Hill” show… What we like in that show is the fact that the boys are alone, they’re single, and they worry about each other and take care of each other, and no one else (Except Bobby of course, we’d definitely like him to becomes a regular by the way ! Anyhoo…) We don’t want the Winchesters to be involved into some love relationships that would definitely ruin the whole show according to us… Now I’m still excited by that new season, and I like to believe that the Season 04 will be the best SN season ever… But please… NO LOVE STORIES that’s all we’re asking for !!!
