Castiel “The Angel Of The Lord” – Why Do We Love Him ?!

Because :

# He’s an Angel
# He gripped Dean tight and raised him from perdition
# He’s a warrior
# He’s a soldier of God
# He’s always on Dean’s side
# He’s tough
# He’s not here to perch on Dean’s shoulder
# He wanted to stop Sam, if Dean didn’t do it
# He burnt Pamela’s eyes
# His real voice can be perceived by special people
# He knew that Sam was heading down a dangerous road
# He took Dean back to the past
# He permitted Dean to know better his mother by sending him to the past
# He’s walking among the humans for the first time in 2000 years
# He knew that Lilith was trying to break the seals so that Lucifer could walk free
# He warned Dean to show him some respect
# He threatened Dean, told him he dragged him outta hell and that he could definitely throw him back in there
# He’s wise
# He doesn’t know Azazel’s Endgame
# He’s not protective over Dean

I could keep on this way for hours & hours… There are tons of reasons why we love him… Why don’t you tell me why you like Castiel ? I’ll add it to the list !

    I don’t think threatening Dean is a reason to love him but I believe Castie is protective of Dean and that is.
    Castiel is honest and trusting of Dean telling him he has doubts and quistions, something dangerous for an Angel to admit.
    Castiel loves mankind as one of God’s great works of art.

    I should add some of your reasons to the list, but I don’t think he’s protective of Dean, I mean remember what he told him in the #402 (Or #403 Actually I Don’t remember) “I’m not here to perch on your shoulders…” I think he made it pretty clear, he’s here because he needs Dean to do something in order to follow God’s plans for him I guess… Also you’re definitely right about the fact that he loves mankind… I should definitely add it to the list ;)
