Exclusive: Interview with My Bloody Valentine’s Patrick Lussier
Mania : We all know Jensen Ackles from the hit show Supernatural and playing the monster hunter. But here he really seemed to get into playing the role of the villain. What did you discuss with him as far as his approach to the role?
Lussier : So this is the big SPOILER question… Biggest thing we discussed was that Tom was a good guy. A guy who wasn’t sly, wasn’t trying to be sneaky. He was the unrequited lost lover of Jaime King’s character, the rival to Axel (played by Kerr Smith), the prodigal son returned home from points unknown. We were careful to never present him as having any hidden villainy. He was trying to do the right thing, to reclaim a life derailed. Just so happened his past torments have haunted him in a way that he doesn’t even realize. Jensen was great at walking that fine line between sympathetic and crazy, guarded and malicious. He is ultimately more tragic than evil. Yet, in the end, he’s still an unrepentant bad ass.
Mania : With its great success, are there any plans for a sequel to My Bloody Valentine 3D?
Lussier : There are plans but no intentions. Todd and I along with Jaime, Kerr, Jensen and Edi would love to climb aboard the continuing adventures of the Miner. But for now, there are no plans to do so. Maybe down the road. Maybe. That’s up to Lionsgate who have said they aren’t interested at this time. So for now we’re all moving on to other projects.

The fans have an idea for Jim’s book, but first, I want to add my thanks to everyone who has done SO much to help support and promote “Life’s That Way.” Your comments and kindness to Jim have been awesome, your reviews are lovely, and your efforts have done so much. On Jim’s Facebook, I’ve read stories of such loss, heartache, survival and hope as to bring tears to my eyes. It’s wonderful to know his story has touched so many so deeply.
Knowing, then, what this book means to us, could we as fans gird our loins (or are we girding lions?) one more time.
That is, can folks please contact some radio shows? He’s been doing great on them, and the more people his message of hope reaches, the more awesome it would be!

CW President Optimistic About More ‘Supernatural’ {BuddyTV.Com}
Admin : Well it’s kinda the same article I posted yesterday named “Will The fifth Season Be The Last One ?” But I felt like sharing this buddyTV Article cause I figured you might like to have more precisions about a possible sixth season… So there you go…

From the beginning, creator Eric Kripke has said that he has a five-year plan for the series, which would make this upcoming season the last one. Ostroff isn’t so quick to give up, however, saying that nothing is certain and they’ll just have to see what happens.
On the bright side, Ostroff was complimentary of the creative direction the show went this season with the angels, and more importantly for a network president, she was pleased with how this effected the ratings. The average episode rating went up from last season and the season 4 premiere, “Lazarus Rising,” was the show’s highest rated episode since the first season.
Does this mean Supernatural is definitely coming back for season 6? Certainly not. It means that the door is not closed so if this year Supernatural continues to grow and do even better, Ostroff wouldn’t mind keeping a show on the rise over shows that are going down.

Admin : I’ve read this article and it has led me to think that I really didn’t want Supernatural to have a sixth season…
Don’t get me wrong, I would definitely love to follow Sam & Dean one more year, but if it’s not with Kripke, well it’s not with me either…
IF KRIPKE LEAVES… I LEAVE…
The guy’s the soul of Supernatural… Without him ? The show wouldn’t still be Supernatural anymore…
I mean seriously guys, I know the dude is definitely twisted and so cruel with us but I love him !
He’s the one who got me hooked on that series… How could I still be watching that show if he’s not directing it anymore ?! I would feel like I’m betraying him… LOL I just can’t… That’s so not possible…
So if Kripke wants to stick to his “five-year” plan then I’m okay with that, even if it means that when Supernatural returns on September with its fifth season, It’ll lead to the very end of the series… I REALLY am okay with that…
But if the network renews the series for a sixth season and that it means that Kripke has to leave… Then I’ll have to leave too…
However, if the network renews the series for a sixth season and that Kripke decides to stay, then I’d say : HELL YEAH BABY BRING IT !!
I’d definitely love that to happen… Just hope Kripke will decide to stay if the network ask him to…

Will The Fifth Season Be The Last One ?! {TVGuide}

They soon will be split up — Smallville is moving to Fridays at 8 — but Clark Kent and the Winchester brothers still have something in common: Despite rumblings surrounding both shows, neither is necessarily entering its final season this fall.
Asked if Clark Kent will hang up his red windbreaker after Season 9, CW entertainment president Dawn Ostroff told TVGuide.com on Thursday, “No …. It’s not necessarily the last season.” Ostroff then volunteered, “I hope it’s not.”
Similarly, Eric Kripke has maintained in recent years that Supernatural is operating on a five-year plan, meaning this next cycle would conclude Sam and Dean’s saga. Ostroff, though, says she is adopting a “We’ll see how the season goes” outlook.
After all, “[The Supernatural creative team] did a really good job this year,” Ostroff notes, “and it really paid off in the ratings.”
Come fall, The Vampire Diaries will lead into Supernatural on Thursdays, while Fox is moving Fringe to that Thursdays-at-9 time period.
