#504 “The End” Reviews by Rivalhunter & Jen !
A Guy’s Point Of View — hmmm…… I can’t help but feel mixed about this episode. Do I like it or not? Don’t get me wrong all Supernatural episodes have their moments, thank god for that lol! So lets see…Right off the bat I’m gonna warn you all, I can get outta hand with time episodes LOL For example, when Cas pulled Dean back to the past. Dean altered the future by saying that John should buy the Impala. In this eppie Zach pulled Dean 5 years in the future. Present Dean learns that all the Angels have lost their mojo or have all possibly became human. Which makes me to think that Zach should’ve lost his mojo because he was in the future for a moment. But! He didn’t lose it, which leads me to think that this was a trap the whole time! And another reason why is because 2014 Dean wasn’t aware of who Present Dean is/was (idk) until they had that discussion… and, he should’ve known because of.. time..rules? I guess??
Also something else that might blow your mind thinking about, was Supreme Evil Sam ambushing Future Dean; do you think he used the colt but found out it didn’t work and thus giving up and letting Luci just kill him, because to me Dean didn’t even look like he put up a fight and our guy is smart enough not to go down at the foot of Luci unless he chooses too, come’on… Luci even goes on to say that no matter what you do, he wouldn’t concede and it’ll all boil down to that very same point. A lot of things didn’t add up but maybe, like I said, I’m obsessed with Time and Time zones LOL and I’m hella over thinking it hahha
Angels gone missing, I think its all lack of faith in God that makes them their power. No belief = No God = No Power Satan loves God that makes sense why he still has his power…
Besides all that maddness, seeing Cas all human status was funny but really sad… Seeing our favorite prophet taking canned food orders, pathetic! Aww he went from badass to sad-ass lol! Hmm anyone notice that Jensen decides to deepen his voice for Dean as he ages?? LOL watch S1 then watch any ep after S3 then watch this episode 2014 Dean is slightly deeper hahhah
Then the brothers reunite yaddah yaddah, cue tears, *women swoon* :]
Alright I’m gonna go recollect my brains and just to let everyone know, satiny clothes are nothing to be ashamed of!! lmao See y’all next week!

So I’m gonna disappoint you buddy, but to me… This… WAS the BEST S05 Episode so far !!! I just loved everything in it ! EVERYTHING !
Stoned-Cas/Future-Chuck/Future-Dean & of course FUTURE-SAM !!!
Wow, damn that was an awesome episode, so good that I kinda don’t even know what to say about it…
Okay let’s start off with huh… ‘Stoned-Cas‘ – Okay I agree, the way he changed was kinda pathetic but he was too funny not to like him ! “Why not go get washed up for the orgy” LOOOOL Seriously ? Now yeah like I said I prefer Cas as an Angel than as a human being but dude that was awesome to see Misha playing a pervert LOL
Now, Zachariah – As usual he’s a dick but I love him ! What else can I say about him ? I don’t know…
Future-Dean – The ep, was clearly a “Dean-Centric” Episode and that has led me to think… I mean, 2014-Dean Winchester hanging around with 2009-Dean Winchester… Man I would LOVE to live something like that in my real life ! LOL My future version of me would warn me, tell me I shouldn’t date such jerks or I shouldn’t choose to do this instead of that… Stuff like that… That would be great… Anyways, why am I even talking about myself ? Let’s get back to Dean…
Well, if I had to make a choice here… A real choice between 14-DW & 09-DW, I think I’d pick 14-DW… I can already hear you guys screaming : “What ? Are you f***ing insane ? The guy wanted to use his friends’ deaths as a diversion !” And I agree that sucked but I kinda liked his idea… Yeah I know I’m cruel, but hey, get over it, I’ve always been cruel I’m not gonna change now LOL…
Thing is, 14-DW was tougher & smarter than 09-DW… He wasn’t just that… He was… A REAL SOLDIER… He knew he would lost some of his guys to succeed in his mission to kill Luci and he chose to go ahead and strike anyway… THIS IS HOW A REAL SOLDIER ACTS… Now I know that’s brutal HELL That’s AWFUL but that’s how a good soldier is supposed to act…
To get back to the whole 14-DW/09-DW ‘Face to Face’ scenes well that was great… And weird okay… I mean two Dean Winchester that’s huh… Too much, right ? Anyways I kinda liked to see them hanging around together… You know, they’re not friends, they’re different, but they ARE the same person and that’s something great to see, and I’d like all the fans of a TV Show to see their “Lead-Role” facing himself in a different year too… That’s a great experience to live as well as a massively good performance coming from Jensen Ackles ! The guy worked a lot on his role for that episode we can definitely see it ! Everything in the 2014-Dean was different from the 2009-Dean, his way to talk, his way to think, his way to act… That’s just… That was a really great performance ! Great job, buddy !
Now, Future-Sam – Well I hate to say this but Sam as Lucifer… ROCKS LOL ! I’ve been thinkin’ a lot about this in the first three episodes of Season 05… I really like what Jared Padalecki is doing with his role… Sam is WAY MORE interesting than he was in the first three seasons… I know I already said that a while back, [In the beginning of the S04 I guess...] He’s darker, he’s wiser, and he’s a better hunter than he ever been so far, he’s not a ‘Cold-Hearted’ hunter but something definitely close to that, yeah… And I like that ! So now seeing him performing Lucifer… Man, that has made my day, (Even though I kinda missed Mark Pellegrino in that ep ! But this, has nothing to do W/ the fact that Sam was playing his role, it was just because I think Mark’s a great Lucifer and I like to see him performing the ‘Big Boss’) So there again : Great job, buddy !
As for the plot and the myth-arc… What do we know so far ?
We know that Dean is Michael’s Vessel, we know that Sam is Lucifer’s Vessel, We know that Dean didn’t give his conscent to the angels yet, We know Sam WILL probably Give his conscent to Luci according to what 14-DW told 09-DW in that episode… We know that Michael IS the one that got Luci locked up downstairs, we know God went AWOL, we know that Raphael wants to kill Cas, we know Cas has lost some of his mojo, we know that Zach is ready to do ANYTHING to make Dean change his mind, to make him say “YES” to Michael, and we also know that Luci looked pretty self-confident saying Sam will say “YES” to him… So where does that lead us ?
That leads us to the same thing I said in my review last week, I kinda think at some point, [Even if Dean sounded pretty rassuring at the end of the ep saying "We write our own future" or sth like that] THEY WILL SAY “YES” TO THE ANGELS ! I don’t know why, but I feel like there’s no other option here… I mean, let’s say, that this whole ‘Time-Travel’ thing wasn’t a trick from the Angels… That it really was what’s gonna happen to the Earth in 05 years… Then Dean has no other option than say yes here… Why ? Cause Sam WILL Say yes to the Devil, that’s for sure ! I can’t help but think that Lucifer knew what he was talking about, like he knew there was ‘No Way’ Sam would say ‘NO‘ to him… He sounded so sure of himself when he said “You will say ‘YES‘ to me…” And considering the fact that LUCIFER CANNOT LIE then I’m taking his word for it, and if I stick up to what 14-Dean said to 09-Dean in that ep, then present-Dean has no other choice than say “Yes” to Michael… I know I might be the only one thinking that, but that’s just my ‘Viewpoint’ you know… and I’m not asking anybody to think like me, it’s just that… To me… That’s obvious… They will both say ‘YES‘ to the Angels… (But hey I might be wrong too, Wait & See, right ?!)
Now the final scene, well the brothers are back together again… Sounds great even though I can’t help but think that’s definitely not a good thing… You know, Dean said it, ‘Together we’re weaker…’ And I agree with him… Anyways, there again I guess, all there’s left to say is….

Friday = Review Day, woohoo
Jen, I second that-Rival u’r review is hilarious =) Made me laugh out loud actually.
About the episode-I was spoiled and I knew that by the end of it Sam&Dean will get back together so a couple of times I wanted to skip to the end and see that scene, cause this episode was hard to watch (in the good way of course, cuz it was really good).
Jen I second almost everything u said about the episode so I won’t repeat it. Just want to mention a couple of things
* Misha Collins did a great job in the beginning ot the episode (so did the writers). Cas’ line “The voice tells me I have a minute left to talk” was priceless =)) And then Castiel’s face when he said “So I’ll wait right here” was awesome. I just imagined him staying there for 4 hours..Lmao
* I really enjoyed Dean’s reaction to future Dean. His realization that that’s what he’ll become was maybe the most important thing in this episode (aside from realizing that he and Sam should stick together of course). Don’t know Jen, as much as I liked future Dean, I kinda prefer 09 Dean, because he’s a lot more human. 14 Dean is really a younger version of John WInchester- the hunter and the soldier, not the father. And the best thing about Dean is that no matter how tough and afraid of nothing he plays, he actually is the most ‘human’ of the three Winchesters. So that’s why I prefer young Dean.
* The scene where Dean finds Bobby’s chair was heartbraking. I really wish they find a way to make him walk again, because the guy deserves it.
So, I really enjoyed this one, but I’m glad next week we’ll have a stand alone episode. It’ll be extremely nice to see the boys back in action=)

I was rethinking the episode again still collecting my brains lol but i couldnt help but think of that phrase “keep your friends close and your enemies closer” hmmm and the fact that when 14Dean said “Theres something I want you to see” could that have meant his own death? hmmm :/

I have mixed feelings (yes, I know Rival, here we are agreeing again..and that really could be a sign of the apocalypse) about this episode.
As usual, Jensen and Misha were brilliant. IATP Chuck was doing inventory and Bobby was gone – that was disturbing. 14DW and Cas have both resigned themselves to defeat and that was heartbreaking. I have to disagree with Jen on this one. 14DW is not a true soldier, he has become a mercenary and his “wage” is paid in deaths. He has lost his faith and his humanity. He is terrifying and he knows it. He isn’t just a soldier, he is a leader and a great leader does not use his men as a human shield without telling them first. 09DW would give these guys the option and let them go in with full knowledge that they won’t be coming out. 14DW wants his past self to make different choices so that he can make different choices.
The funny thing about this season is Sam. I can’t begin to say how brilliant Jared has been. Sam has really evolved! I like Sam but always found him a bit self-centered and self-righteous. Not anymore. Sam has been leveled. He knows what he has to do. He has to say yes to Lucifer and hope that Dean can kill him, knowing full well that he dies too. He needs to be close to Dean, not so Dean can save him but to let Dean kill him.
So where does that leave us with Dean and Michael? Not sure. No matter what Dean does, he will end up in the same place – trying to kill his brother. Dean struggles to see this. He refused to see it in TMATEOTB. So, do we think that he will consent in order to change future events, not for that. He knows the price that the world will pay for a blow out between Michael and Lucifer……although, does anyone remember that little oath that he took? What if that comes back in to play? Unless EK is planning on changing the rules of his own game, only an angel can kill another angel. The gun won’t work unless it is in the hands of an angel. So Dean MUST consent. Since I have danced around this bush for an entire paragraph…Dean will either run out of options and say yes or God will intervene and give the boys an “out clause” to be the vessels.
Good episode..some parts were better than others.
And like Jen said…Wait and See…
Rival, I agree with you again GULP!! Keep your enemies closer is exactly what Dean is doing. As for the non-fight and the I want you to see something….he wanted 09DW to see Lucifer in his brother’s body. The ultimate end game. Dean’s ultimate failure. John said, “if you cannot save him, you have to kill him” and in this glimpse, Dean has failed his father.
Just mentioning, didn’t Dean already change something? Future-Dean said that he hadn’t talked to Sam in about 5 years, coincidentally the time that Now-Dean was from. So the first thing he did when he got back was call Sam.
After saying that, I wouldn’t rule the boys out yet! Maybe now that they’re together they’ll kick Luci AND the angel’s butts~
Yes Jeggy, Dean did change something by calling Sam, but these were Lucifer’s words exactly “No matter what u change…u’ll always end up here”. Though there is a thing I don’t get- Lucifer said “See u in 5 years”. Does this mean that Lucifer & Dean/ Michael will meet for the first time in 5 years? Does this mean we’ll have 5 more seasons =) ?

Rival, I thought that Lucifer/Sam said that Lucifer will see Dean in 5 years, not Sam. Did he mean Sam?
uhhh, dang im confused been a while..
Luci/Sam did say to Dean that they would meet in 5 yrs. But Future Dean told present dean that he hadn’t seen Sam in 5 years, Not sure if he meant Sam but I doubt it. -sorry for the late response! :]
