‘Supernatural’: Misha Collins and Jim Beaver will return in Season 6
Rest assured, “Supernatural” fans. The CW and Warner Bros have officially confirmed to Zap2it that fan-favorite actors Misha Collins (Castiel) and Jim Beaver (Bobby Singer) are expected to join Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles on episodes of “Supernatural” next season.
In the Season 5 finale, the both characters were killed — Castiel exploded like an over-filled water balloon, and Lucifer snapped Bobby’s neck. Of course, since this is “Supernatural,” they were resurrected minutes later. Castiel headed back to heaven to “be the new sheriff in town,” and when Dean and Bobby said goodbye, it was made clear that it was “the last [they] would see of each other for a very long time.”
When Season 6 begins, Dean has retired from hunting and, after making a promise to uphold Sam’s dying wish, sworn never to go back to that life. Sam, who has somehow escaped from Lucifer’s cage, will have to convince him to get back on the road to deal with the aftermath of the battle between Heaven and Hell.
Luckily, they’ll have their father figure Bobby on their side, and Castiel’s newly-regained angel powers should come in handy as well.

#522 “Swan Song” Reviews by RivalHunter & Jen [Season Finale]
What do I think of this finale?? Everything was just one big mind fuck lol and I bet I’m thinking WAY TOO much into everything… –fuck –jesus –lord LOL Alright we’ll just go along and take piece by bloody broken piece.
We had the same intro like the other finales that was a little refreshing it kinda set the mood for what was going to happen. God were else do I begin? Well I feel it really did take a depressing toll, 5 years and it “end” like this? hmm was I expecting too much? Did I really not want to see Sam consent? Dean never said yes which is really odd, I’m wondering when they decided to change their minds about it?
Sam is dead. You know me skipping to the bare meat of it all! lol Our enigmatic ending is shown with Dean eating with is new found family. Lights turn bright and burn out. And Sam is shown looking at Dean. What just happened? Is Sam alive alive or is he just a spirit now? Who brought him out of Hell? God? Death? Maybe Sam is back just out of sheer goodness and self sacrifice, that would be grounds on him going to heaven if he had died right? Maybe Sam is neither in Hell nor Heaven just like the choices him and Dean made. But Sam’s face what kind of emotion, regret? jealously? we all know that Sam has unlimited amount of rage and anger, was it silent rage we saw? If he ever went to Hell you must’ve been there only a day human and that would be like what a month or so maybe a year in Hell? Idk… Only after dying like hundred times, did Sam get the point of this whole senario? Sam did say to Dean to live a apple pie life? Does anyone ever mean it? Do you think Dean could ever live a life like that?? I don’t think that one tiny bit! lol
Dean can’t live a happy fairy tale life… Both brothers are meant to hunt all things supernatural. I’ll tell you one thing though! Maybe just maybe the writers are not done breaking Dean down. Think about it, give a guy a good life only to take it away…*cough* like Bobby’s story. The guy has been through enough, or has he?? Beat up Dean was just sad, -cool but damn.. lol
What of this God test? What is the purpose? and why is He still not in Heaven? God sounds way too high maintence… LOL Just like Chuck said you try to tie up loose ends and the fans are gonna bitch. I do bitch quite a bit LOL There is always gonna be holes… so I’m not going to bare most of this review on what was missing. He also said what is this suppose to add up to something and what if it doesn’t add up to anything –and I’m telling you it’s a raging pain in the ass, that’s probably meaning the show must go on even though it’s supposed to be the end. If they left the show just as is would you all think that this ending is appropriate for the 5 long years?
Ya know they could’ve just left Luci alone and never said yes. Luci’s vessel would have just dissipated lol but what fun would that be, right? lol And still to the last fight Luci is still trying to play the sympathy card! He is a wiley one! I think I’m actually gonna miss him most of all lol such an evil genius..
OH almost forgot, When Luci said I know you want revenge everyone has been keeping tabs on you Sam blah blah blah, do you think Dean has Angels or Demons watching him too? or was it just Sam all along?
Anyways I think I’m done here, I’m trying to see the light ahead but its kinda hard to see pass this ep. And yeaahh kinda just stuck here wondering whats next! I say we bombard Sera with emails 24/7 lmao

A Girl’s Point Of View — I cried my eyes out… This finale was pretty intense and heartbreaking at the same time…. I must have cried 30 mins straight… I liked the fact that we got deep into the whole ‘Lucifer-Vessel’ action pretty fast at the beginning of the episode… So let’s review that ep!
Sam/Lucifer- I wanna start with Sam because: JARED BLEW ME AWAY!!! I knew he was an amazing actor but in that episode, he was more than amazing… He was… Hell there aren’t words!! His way to play Lucifer was awesome, watching him I had the feeling I was watching Mark Pellegrino! That’s really something that I like about Jared, he’s able to play ANY roles with the same intensity that he’s playing Sammy… Kudos to Jared because he really amazed me in this ep! Now I wanna talk about the very last scene of the episode… And the 63-million-dollar question is… How the hell did Sam end up in front of Lisa’s house? And it’s not just that question, the ending of the episode leads to a whole bunch of new questions if you ask me, and the first one would be: What the hell??? 15 seconds earlier he was rushing into the pit as well as his lil bro Adam -AKA Michael-! What happened down there?! How did he escape for the second time? How long did he stay down there, can we count that as “Hell” Years? Is Luci still possessing Sam’s meat suit? I’d say “Yeah” as the look that Sam had on his face while he was looking at Dean living his “White-Picket-Fence” Life didn’t really seem reassuring…
Chuck- WHAT THE HELL? Why did he vanish in the air? In the way that I see it, I think God was possessing Chuck!! When I think about it, it makes perfect sense! He’s the one who led Dean to Lawrence cause he knew he’d be able to reach Sam from the inside of Lucifer… He knew Dean could stop it! And after all why would God let the end of the world happen? I mean he’s the one who created human beings… If he’d let them all die, it wouldn’t make any sense, right? Chuck (Or God) has set things in motion… He knew how it was gonna end! Anyways, it’s always a blast to see Rob! I love that dude so much I could re watch the eps he is in, like a thousand times! Made me laugh (And that’s exactly what I needed knowing that I’ve started to cry around the first 10 mins of the episode…haha) when he said ‘Mr. Smagda…‘ haha how awesome!
Impala- Dean’s baby made the Apocalypse her b*tch! How great!!! I really didn’t see that coming!
FlashBacks- Am I the only one who cried her eyes out seeing those scenes from season 01 to season 05 all combined?! Watching those flashbacks scenes, man, I really had the feeling that the series was ending once and for good then I remembered there was a sixth season planned! Thank GOD for that!
Bobby- When Luci killed him I just blinked my eyes thinking… ‘What’s just happened?!‘ (Not to mention how I yelled out when I saw Cas’ head explode…) But I’m soooooooooo gladdddddddddd that Cas brought him back… Jim broke my heart again when he hugged Sam and said with tears in his eyes ‘When he gets in… You fight him tooth and nail, you understand?‘ Ohhh I’m so glad he’s still around I was sooooo afraid the writers would kill him off once and for good!
Cas- Well what can I say? He saved the day once again! He’s the one who sent Michael back to heaven so that Dean could try to reach Sam… He made the difference here… Then when Luci blew his head off I was like ‘You son of bitch! Luci I swear up and down you’ll live to regret this! I’ma reap you!!!‘ Then I realized I was talking to a fictional character… Sorry about that it happens to me all the time when I watch SN!! haha Then when it was all over and Cas got back I just… I was like *Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee* haha! Now I know the writers said they’d wrap the whole Apocalyptic storyline in the Season finale, and hey, they sorta did! Cas got his angelic modjo back and then he vanished in the air… But I’m telling You!!! The dude will be back!!! (At least I hope so!) I can’t imagine that show without Cas anymore!
Dean- That dude is a wreck!! And I mean it!! If I were him, I’d pack all my stuff and I’d go for a vacation to the bahamas!! As much as I love Lisa… I don’t want Dean to have a normal life… [What can I say? I got a thing for tortured heros!!] It just doesn’t sound right to me, besides: Been there, done that! Dean already tried many times to ride a normal life claiming that he was tired of this life… And each time his past as a hunter got back to haunt him… Haunt him down to a breakin’ point where he decided [EACH TIME] to get back on the road looking for supernatural creatures to kill… So what makes him think that he’ll be able to ride a “White-Picket-Fence” life now? Now I’m wondering… What will the sixth season be all about?! I got no idea… Any suggestions, guys?! As for Jensen’s performance… He totally broke my heart when he tried to reach Sam inside of Lucifer… He also blew me away when he realized his bro was gone, you know when Lucifer said ‘I was just messing with you, Sam is long gone now…‘ He had tears in his eyes and we could definitely feel that he was freaking out!!! Oh and when he got to the battlefield with the Def Leppard song ‘Rock of Ages’ I laughed my ass off!! ‘Am I interrupting something?!‘ Anyways, Kudos to Jensen for being such a great actor!
And last but not least…
Kripke- I want to thank this guy for having made my thursdays really fun for like 05 years now… I’m still very sad to know that he stepped down as the showrunner but hu… If he’s still around I guess Supernatural won’t lose his ‘Soul’, I’ve always said Kripke was the real soul of Supernatural… I guess deep down I wish Sera will be able to make me like the show the same way Krip got me hooked on it since september, 13th 2005…
I guess that’s pretty much it! Next review: September 2010!! Can’t WAIT!!
