Why oh why is Cas in holy fire – explain please to this poor fan in NZ who is a year behind.
He’s in holy fire because he is now the head honcho in Heaven -fighting against Raphael- and because he needed backup and didn’t want to force Dean out of his new normal life with Lisa and Ben was tricked by Crowley into working with him. I wont go into how and why details, but basically Dean, Sam and Bobby figure out that Castiel has been lying to them all along about working with Crowley when originally earlier in the season he was supposed to have killed him. They are mad about this and trick him into the holy fire ring to interrigate and chastise him about trusting a demon and how its pretty obvious that it has caused them nothing but trouble in the past.
Thanks for that.
We are so far behind it is frustrating at times.
